XTube Ideas and Feedback

This is a crowd-driven system for user suggested ideas and feedback to get more love from the XTube developers. Simply suggest ideas, and vote on ideas you like – Everyone can spread around up to 10 votes per day.

The best ideas will be implemented the soonest!

  1. The current advanced search is not working. Regardless of whether i search for free video, new, or by upload date, i get an error screen.

  2. So, do you not actually care about all the spam videos posted?

    The flood of spam videos isn't quite what it was when it started four months ago, but there's still more than enough every day or so to make legit postings difficult to find in the Latest Videos.

    You've had more than enough time to find a technical fix, and if you were actually concerned you could clear them out manually in the meantime. They're all blindingly obvious: new profiles, names all ending in three digits, video descriptions barely literate, almost all with a URL in the video thumbnail. But somehow it's beyond you to shut it down.

    Hi,

    This is an issue our team is currently working on. There is a delay due to some technical issues that occurred along the way, but this will be resolved soon. This will cover spam accounts, spam videos and spam comments.

  3. All Male Videos

    Please stop putting videos of women in the all male video selections. Very much of a turn off. Thanks.

  4. activities page

    The Activities Page needs an option to hide it or turn it off. It's extremely invasive and also unsafe to have every move you make on this site monitored by any and everyone. It's a great tool for stalkers and trolls to harass users. Not telling you to get rid of it, but PLEASE allow us to turn it off/hide.

  6. Fix favorites.

    Please fix favorite browsing. It keeps redirecting me to first page of my favorites if I'm on any page ahead of page 1. If I'm on page 5 and I click to watch a video, when I'm done watching and press the back arrow to go back to my previous page it always send me back to page 1. Please fix this.

  7. Please give us the ability to prevent our profiles from being indexed by search engines (How to do so described)

    However, it was closed without good cause. It's perfectly possible to prevent google from indexing a profile, by putting noindex meta tags in a page's code, or other methods listed here: http://antezeta.com/news/avoid-search-engine-indexing

    I've been to other porn sites that give you the ability to hide your profile from search engines that properly honor this, such as Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo. So please, implement it. It's important for both privacy and safety.

    Just give us a checkbox in our profiles to do this.

    Please note that whatever you type onto XTube.com can show up in a Google search result. XTube.com takes no responsibility for the information you choose to post onto an unsecured XTube.com page, but thank you for your suggestion the team will consider it.

  8. Allow users better control of privacy settings

    The user experience would be better if Xtube allowed for greater user control over privacy. Users could apply different levels of privacy to their content.
    1. Public for everybody: Everyone with an internet browser can see it.
    2. Public for Xtube: Only people who are logged into their Xtube account can see it.
    3. Private for friends: All of the user's friends can automatically see this level of private content without a PIN.
    4. Private for a select group: The user can choose a batch of users who are allowed to view this level of private content without a PIN.…

  9. Are videos marked PREVIEW free ?

    Nearly every video marked PREVIEW is asking for money.
    This is fraud and XTUBE has to be sanctioning it to make
    more cash.

  10. Video sorting isn't working.

    It's been like this for a few days now! For example, pressing "Most recent" will display videos from 3 months ago as the first result while a video from just 3 weeks ago will display further down the page!

    This doesn't just go for the "most recent" category either, it does the same for all sorting options. Try order remains the same regardless of what is selected so something is definitely broken here, I've tried numerous browsers and several devices and I can reproduce the issue on all of them.

  11. Revamp Notifications and be able to group or filter by Comments ONLY|Ratings ONLY|New Subscribers, etc.

    I dislike that they're all lumped together. I only want to see new comments, but if the other idea that was shared on here of making a comments section for people to track comments - I could also live with that. However by fixing th notifications page, it would make it much more user friendly to group by ratings/comments/favorited(when you guys add this)/subscribed.

  12. Notifications ???

    Hello, since a few days I get no notifications.

    No notifications about:

    • Rating my profile or videos
    • Favorited my videos
    • Replied of my comments
    • New subscribers

    The only notifications I get are about new comments. What's going on here ???
    I hope this is a bug and no new change, because this was one of the best features.

  13. A Message Box in your profile, Just like Facebook, to say something what's in your mind, they is also a tool for announcement and notice.

    This message box will be useful, for members and amateur to express
    something, you can limit to set of sentence, if ever, can add some pictures only. not videos. This tool will also be useful for amateur like me, who control his chat mute, or webcam. but express his thoughts in that message box. A useful tool for announcement.
    But there will not comment or suggestion box.
    Whet do you think.

  14. Please allow us to Disable the instant message pop up

    I don't want to use the instant messaging pop up as I find it intrusive. please can you give us an account setting to disable/enable it rather than having to set status for each session?

  15. Please move "Status: Waiting for conversion" videos to the beginning of the list

    Currently newly uploaded videos are put at the very end of the list on the "myamateurvideos.php" page.
    Because the page only shows 20 videos, and the page scroll at the bottom only goes from page 1-6, if you have a lot of videos uploaded you have to click "next" many times to reach the end of the list and find any "waiting for conversion" status videos.

    If those status were simply moved to the top (just like "My Scheduled Videos" is at the very top of page 1), it would make it much easier to keep track of…

  16. I can't vote to like a picture by a regular user--please change this

    When I vote to "like" a regular pic and not one by an amateur requiring payment --I get a message saying only verified buyers can vote for this video???

  18. Option to prevent users from sending messages

    I keep receiving private messages from people who are not in my area and I'm not interested in meeting. I just can't get to know new people in a daily basis, and I have to keep saying no.
    Make it an option to be able to disable the reception of messages. I would be even better to have many options such as: receive only from people in certain countries, receive only from friends, receive from no one.

  19. Disable comments and votes

    Fix comments and votes people can still vote and comment on your videos and photos even if you select. Disallow comments to be added to your video and Disallow people from rating your video. This has been a problem for sometime.

  20. Bring back MY LIBRARY>VIDEOS>SEARCH> feature.

    Used to be able to list my videos and SORT>QUANTITY TO LIST>ASCENDING/DESCENDING. Bud now, we can't find any of our own. Only by stupid short lists that take forever
