One of the reasons I joined the site was because there waant the awful popups all over the place. That seems to have changed recently and it is so annoying. Jaminelive seems to be one of your favourite sites . it too is even more annoying.

On a profile page there is one banner ad.
There is also a tiny ad that only appears in the instant messaging client (Which is collapsed by default)
There whole site has one pop UNDER per day on whichever page you lick first after the index page.
If you’re getting ‘awful popups all over the place’ – you likely have a local security issue.

If you're using Internet Explorer, you can block the LiveJasmine popup by setting the popup blocker to the 'high' level (IE offers three levels.) On a few occasions, that will also prevent a new tab from being opened unless you use the context menu to 'open page in a new tab' feature. Hope that made sense. -- wbj631

The ethics of blocking ads on a free site is questionable, but the practicality is undeniable.
