3 Puzzling Things
Successful websites want compelling content that users want to return to, and add to because it keeps them on the site, allowing them to see more ads. Xtube had exactly that, so why did it ditch it all?
Good websites tell their users in advance if they are planning to jettison content they have uploaded - imagine the reaction if Facebook deleted everything you had ever uploaded without informing you, so you had no time to copy it.
Responsible websites communicate with their users and explain the policy behind their actions - even it's after the event. Shouldn't Xtube at least tell us why they took the step of deleting everything its members had ever uploaded.
Please be informed that we only accept content uploads from verified users.
