Bareback promotion spray STDs
Hi. I noticed there are many bareback videos on the website. Many people, especially young ones are not aware that it can be a dangerous practice for their health and they can catch all kind of serious diseases doing that. It shows unprotected sex as common and harmless.
It's Xtube responsibility to alert its users about it. Not doing so is like taking part of STDs spreading, including AIDS that killed and made suffer so many people and continue to do so.
I don't think those kinds of videos should be forbidden though.
But Xtube should add a message at the top or bottom of the videos, (all along it, not just at the beggining or the end) to alert viewers it's a dangerous practice. Or a tag in the corner saying "unsafe practice" or something.
Xtube should also have an obvious section about STD's prevention, provinding all the information and links necessary to warn people about it, where they can get more information and STDs test. Every video depicting dangerous pratice should be linked to this section.
Sorry about my english, it's not my native language.

"poz" not withstanding, there are actual committed couples who have sex.
Half of x-tube is amateurs uploading homemade content.
There is basically 0 risk from having sex with one's own monogamous partner, whether or not there is a camera going. In fact, it is much safer than using a condom with a series of strangers.
Why should all these people get censored or filtered? Its kind of ridiculous that it even has a special category, when it represents actual all-natural sex, the evolutionary "default". If anything, there could be a special sub-category for condom sex.

Even just an option that turns off any bareback sex, especially among gay partners. It could be disabled by default and turned on with a click, or it could be a pop-up with information like a disclaimer before allowing you to see BB movies.

I have sent a number of comments expressing concern about the growing number of "poz" videos. Not only do they show unsafe sex, but they seem to promote it. I am concerned that some of the anti-gay forces at work today are going to learn of these videos and use them against Xtube and against our community and our campaign for equality. I strongly believe that you should simply reject videos that use the "poz" designation or ones that include dialogue indicating that giving or taking "poz" loads is a good thing. It is not a good thing. It would be the responsible action to take, and it will remove the possibility that these can be used against you or our community in the future.

Excellent idea, Olivier! Xtube should do that indeed, instead of their new irrational obsession with forbidding any video that might show some "pain" (from the very subjective opinion of whoever at xtube gets to block/ban/remove videos arbitrarily). See my own "idea" regarding the later issue... Right now xtube is cracking down on consensual bdsm, discriminating against that community, instead of fighting against real dangers like STDs. That's just unacceptable!

It's actually worse than you think. Lately there are videos on the site consisting of "pozzing", meaning when a person with HIV knowingly tries to give it to a person who does not, both "stealthing" and otherwise. While xtube doesn't "promote" it per say, they are complicit because they allow it.

I understand that Xtube is not "promoting unsafe sex" but I agree with you that some active icon or link should always be posted on videos with unprotected sex.

Thank you for your feedback. Xtube is not promoting "unsafe" interaction as this does not correspond to our Terms of Use.
